ABRAHAM - Abram and Lot, Genesis 13:5-­18

1. Abram and Lot were out traveling one day, Herdsmen were arguing all on the way. Abram said: Let there be no strife, I pray! For we are brothers – let's not act this way. Camping with God, camping with God, We're on the move;; we're camping with God. Quickly we pack up, we're ready to go! At any moment, our God we'll follow. 2. Abram gave Lot then the first choice that day;; Lot saw the best land and he went that way. Abram got Canaan when Lot pitched his tent So close to Sodom;; the wrong way Lot went. If you go left, I will go right. There is no reason for us to fight. If you go right, to the left I will go – God will take care of us both, this I know. 3. God said to Abram, Now lift up your eyes Look north, south, east, west – you must realize All of the land you see, I'll give to you And to your children, yes, this I will do! Rise up and walk -­ walk through the land;; Walk through its length and breadth – know it firsthand. Abram then did as the Lord said that day: Moved his tents down by the oaks of Mamre.
